Biograd na Moru, formerly a royal Croatian town, is a famous tourist and nautical destination in the very centre of the Adriatic Riviera. Surrounded by national parks - Kornati, Paklenica, Krka Falls, Plitvice lakes, Northern Velebit, nature parks - Vransko lake, Telascica, Velebit, and the nearby historical cities - Zadar, Sibenik and Nin, our town will make your stay on the Croatian Adriatic an unforgettable one.

NEW Fun Park

*NEW* Fun Park the "Croatian Gardaland" in Biograd - opening expected on 15.07.2017!

One of the largest amusement parks of this type in this part of the world opens soon in Biograd! With its three themes - the Pirate City, the Wild West and the Universe - containing a sum of 26 attractions, paying a visit to this Gardaland like adventure theme park would make your kids very happy, giving a special touch to your family holidays, or even just a family weekend in Biograd.

Each of the three thematic units is a combination of attractions and games with content aimed at children, teenagers and families. The experience is completed with a diverse offer of food, drinks, games, souvenirs, events and concerts.

Ticket prices will be between 100 and 190 kuna (cca 14-26 EUR). In preparation is a whole set of possibilities of purchasing tickets at a lower price, such as season tickets, discounts for early birds or in the postseason. Ticket will be cheaper to buy online, and kids will have free entry on their birthday. There will be a discount for group bookings, packages for school trips and special offers for corporate events and team buildings, as well as VIP passes for a speed tour of the park.

Our beaches...

Fabulous beaches and coves in Biograd await those who prefer to spend their holiday that way. Especially popular with families with children are the gently sloping pebble beach Drazice and the sandy beach Soline. While active holidaymakers can engage themselves in numerousbeach and water sports on the beaches of Biograd, for the little ones there are varied leisure facilities and entertainment programs. Swimming in a crystal clear sea is possible only about hundred meters from town centre, where beaches spread in the shade of centuries old pine woods, and for those who prefer privacy there are many small afforested islands in the Pasman channel. A "Sovinje" naturist camp on the island of Pasman welcomes you, whether you are staying there, or just visiting its beautiful sandy beach.

Once a crown city of Croatian kings, today Biograd na moru is an up-to-date tourist and nautical centre in the middle of the Adriatic coast.

This picturesque town lies on a peninsula surrounded by modern marinas and a promenade from which spreads an unforgettable sight to the Pasman channel and little islands scattered all over it. Our large ports are a paradise for boaters and yachtsmen, and Biograd is a popular outgoing port for boat trips and sailing trips to the island labyrinth of the Kornati archipelago.

Old Town

While during the day everything revolves around the beaches, in the evening shifts the hustle and bustle to the promenade around the old town. Numerous restaurants, taverns and bars invite you to enjoy the specialties of Dalmatian cuisine and the local vines.

In the evening you can enjoy a romantic walk along the shore and beach promenade or through the narrow winding streets of the old town, or you may have great time on some of the many events with live music during the summer, dance terraces, bars, clubs and taverns.

Historical cities

Historical cities in the vicinity of Biograd na moru

1. Zadar - The Church of St. Chrysogonus is a Roman Catholic church, and, in the opinion of many, our most beautiful Romanesque church. The monastery church of the Benedictine monastery was built in AD 918; consecrated in 1175.

2. Zadar - St. Donatu´s Church, a pre-Romanesque church from the 9th century

3. Zadar - the sea organ plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps

4. Sibenik - Cathedral of St.James is on the UNESCO World Heritage list (it was built completely in stone between 1431 - 1536)
